The University of Florida's Doctor of Plant Medicine (DPM) program http://www.dpm.ifas.ufl.edu/ is the first professional plant health doctorate degree in the world. DPM students complete courses and internships within the following core competency areas: Entomology and Nematology; Plant Pathology: and Plant, Soil, and Weed Science. Over 60 DPM alumni are currently employed in academic, industry, and government positions.
