Highlights and topics covered at the Fifth Quadrennial Meeting of the International Heteropterist Society Meeting that was held from July 21st to 25th, 2014 at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC are presented. Record attendance and organization by Dr. Thomas Henry of the NMNH led to an engaging and exciting conference, with many new areas of research in Heteroptera.
