Arthropods pests are a pervasive feature of Florida’s urban landscapes, infesting turf, annuals, trees and shrubs in yards, parks, gardens, cemeteries, roadside medians, sports fields, nurseries and various other landscaped areas. Hence we have developed a mobile-friendly Pest Diagnostic Guide for Landscape Ornamental Plants, with a focus on pest issues most likely to be encountered in Florida. In addition to its search capability the website serves as a repository of useful pest information (biology,  known host ranges, and distributions) and provides pictures of different pest life stages and damage caused. The website links users to other extension based University of Florida’s publications (e.g. EDIS, Featured Creatures etc). We believe the website will facilitate further collaborative projects, on the local, regional, and national scale.
