Management of invasive whiteflies in the south Florida landscape

South Florida has been plagued with 3 invasive whiteflies over the last several years.  An update on the management of these pests will be reviewed with an emphasis on the use of neonicotinoids and biological control.  The success of a pilot study in which one community was able to get the whitefly under control using both insecticides and biological control will be reviewed.
