The results from a field monitoring study on Bt sweet corn (event BT11) used as an in-field screen will be discussed. We collected data each year since 1996, comparing side-by-side the efficacy of Attribute Bt and its nonBt isoline. Results provide strong evidence that CEW has developed resistance to cry1Ab on the Eastern Shore and that the control efficacy of Attribute has significantly declined.
