Antlions of the genus Myrmeleon (Neuroptera: Myrmeleontidae) are reviewed in the Nearctic region.  Twelve valid species are documented from this region, including two new species, M. stangei Baumgardner and Oswald and M. brevispinus Baumgardner and Oswald.  Three new synonyms are proposed as follows:  (1) Myrmeleon uniformis Navás n. syn. = Myrmeleon mobilis Hagen; (2) Myrmeleon arizonicus Banks n. syn. = Myrmeleon rusticus Hagen; and (3) Myrmeleon carolinus Banks n. syn. = Myrmeleon crudelis Walker.  Taxonomic keys and detailed figures are presented for the adult males of the twelve known species in addition to information on life history, biology, temporal and geographic.
