Local non-target arthropod (NTA) field evaluations are commonly required for cultivation approvals of biotechnology-derived crops often times without consideration for data that have been generated previously in other geographies. The concept of data transportability maintains that data, with proper justification, can be leveraged across geographies resulting in reduced duplication of effort, cost, and approvals times. This effort utilized existing NTA field data collected from different regions to demonstrate that this type of information is transportable across geographies.
