A number of new insecticides (tolfenpyrad, sulfoxaflor, cyazypyr, flupyradifurone) have been recently registered or are close to registration for citrus pest management. Research was conducted to examine the selectivity of these insecticides with regard to predatory mites (Euseius tularensis), parasitoids (Aphytis melinus), and beetles (Rodolia cardinalis). This paper discusses the efficacy of these insecticides for various citrus pests and selectivity favoring natural enemies.
