Educating individuals about the value of insects while also convincing management agencies and decision-makers to increase conservation procedures and policies are just some of the challenges facing entomologists and conservationists.  That said, large, conspicuous, colourful, diurnal and aerial insects such as bumble bees, monarch butterflies, and dragonflies are excellent subjects for nature interpretation programs and public education.  This poster highlights the contribution of charismatic micro-fauna in recreation, tourism and education from an international perspective.
