Genetic markers have been widely used to understand the breeding structure and population genetic of subterranean termites. This presentation includes data on colony spatial and genetic structure from 2009-2011. The results indicated that termite colonies structure changed from simple families to extended families and also into a fused colony under natural conditions within three years.
