Management of pepper weevil, Anthonomus eugenii Cano (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)

The pepper weevil, Anthonomus eugenii is an economic pest of pepper of all varieties. Actara and Vydate provided significant reduction of pepper weevil adults and infestation. Cyazypyr , a diamide insecticide, was effective in managing pepper weevil when applied in a program with Vydata, Actara and Asana.
