Entomophagy as a food industry is gaining momentum. However, several internal and external influences are affecting the publics’ perceptions. The psychology of entomophagy (fears, phobias and perceptions), the benefits of entomophagy (nutritional, medicinal, environmental, and crop protection), the constraints of entomophagy (commercialization, processing, and regulation) and entomophagy’s presence in the media are the discussion of this research
