Three new delphacid planthopper species discovered in museum material comprise a new genus (Delphacidae: Delphacini following Asche 1985, 1990; Urban et al. 2010). The species are described from Arizona and Mexico. Sequence data for the gene Cytochrome Oxidase I (COI) is reported for one of the species. A proposed placement of this genus within the Delphacini is assessed using molecular and morphological data.
