Conchopterella, a small South American genus in the neuropteran family Hemerobiidae, presently contains three described species. However, its phylogenetic limits and affinities are not well understood. Here, we investigate those limits and affinities using formal phylogenetic analysis of morphological characters. We discuss putative outgroups and propose a redefinition of relationships.
