The efficiency study of insecticide application for control of lotus thrips, Frankliniella schultzei Trybom, Scirtothrips dorsalis Hood and Selenothrips rubrocinctus Giard in the lotus field at ladgrabang, Bangkok, Thailand. The application was study on 2 crops until March to May, 2006 and April to June, 2007. The trial was CRD with 4 replication of 4 treatments. The treatment using cypermethrin rate 40 ml./ 20 litres, imidacloprid 10 ml./ 20 litres, integrated control method by cut leaf above the water level to desert completely sprayed Beauveria bassiana concentration was 80 ml./20 litres of water, control sprayed by water. The result showed that there were no significant difference of thrips density among four application. But in the quality of flowers in control experiment has brown scared on the flower more than insecticides sprayed treatment.
