The distribution of Anopheles sinensis, a member of the Hyrcanus group, was determined using recent collection data and published records in Asia particularly China, Japan and Korea. Ecological niche models were constructed to predict its potential distribution in various parts of the Asian region. Larval and pupal habitats were also noted, including rice fields, ditches, marshes, ground pools, ponds, stream margins and others.
