My students and I have been using the Internet as a teaching and communication tool in Forest Entomology, for nearly 15 years ( http://gaia.flemingc.on.ca/~pbell ). In 2007, I published my course eBook with Lulu.com. Students now have wireless access to all lectures and assignments via a PDA or through any computer. The next phase of this web-based approach will be to have an all electronic Extension Service. As our college has never had an entomology extension service, this is an opportunity to create an interactive, totally paperless entomology extension service. Help!
