Moderators of symposia and submitted paper sessions should attend one of the training sessions to receive instructions on light controls, equipment operation, procedures in case of equipment failures, and other responsibilities.
• Sunday–Monday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon–12:30 p.m.
• Tuesday–Wednesday, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 a.m.
If you are unable to attend one of these meetings, please visit the Presentation Preview Room 209/210 for instructions and training prior to your session. All sessions must have two co-moderators. During the first part of the session, one person will moderate and the other will serve as projectionist. Co-moderators may switch positions at the middle of the session.
Moderators are responsible for keeping their sessions on time according to the published program schedule and recording the number of attendees at the session. The moderator should obtain a timer for his/her session from the Presentation Preview Room at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the session and return the item to personnel in the Presentation Preview Room immediately after the session ends.
