Numerous field trials have been conducted with flonicamid on cotton to determine its efficacy against plant bugs. In many instances modest reductions in the plant bug population were observed but at the end of the season there was a significant positive impact on cotton yield. The effects of flonicamid on plant bugs were examined. The results of this research are reported in this paper.
