Phellopsis LeConte is the sole member of the zopherid tribe Phellopsini, and occurs in old-growth Boreal forests of eastern Asia and North America. The species were revised, based on morphological analysis of over 3,400 specimens from throughout the historic range. The results of this analysis left the nomenclature changed extensively, with one new species described, one previously synonymized species re-elevated to valid status, and 3 more names newly synonymized. The phylogeny of the 6 recognized species provides insight into the impact of the Pleistocene on the biogeography of this genus.

Species 1: Coleoptera Zopheridae Phellopsis
