A new genus and species of spider beetles Coleoptera:Ptinidae) are described from South Africa. The genus can be distinguished by the distinct pattern of setae on the elytra and pronotum. The individual species can be identified based on differences in the structure of the male genitalia and the shape of the setal tuft covering the pronotum. The external surface features and the male genitalia are illustrated for all the species.
