He Zhong, zhong_h@popmail.firn.edu, Florida A & M University, PHEREC / CESTA, 4000 Frankford Ave, Panama City, FL

Mosquito data center is database software developed based on Internet Portal Technology. This database is capable of accommodate biological species inventory, population trend and species composition at real time. The data can be housed in central location and accessed worldwide at anytime.

Featured with secured access, the database creates hierarchy for various levels of users (employees, supervisors). The data input is easy and tailored for entry levers with limited computer knowledge. However, initial database configuration requires some database knowledge.

The data center also allows clients to upload various formats of documents to share and the files can be sorted and searched. Clients are also able to post their messages through online message board as the operation record within an organization. Currently, this data center is able to handle the mosquito data for multiple counties, multiple locations and multiple species within a single state.
