Oviposition by the larval parasitoid Microplitis croceipes in conspecific adults

Longevity of the larval parasitoidMicroplitis croceipes reared in group was shorter than those reared individually. We found from laboratory experiments that mass-reared females often lay eggs in conspecific adults and the laid eggs often hatch and kill the recipients.
