Developmental study of a 56 kDa neuropeptide in the housefly Musca domestica

The developmental profile of a 56 kDa neuropeptide (p56) in the larval, pupal and adult stages of the housefly Musca domestica was investigated using both immunocytochemistry and Western blot analysis. The potential role of the p56 will be discussed.
