Western corn rootworm, Diabrotica virgifera virgifera LeConte, has been labeled the billion dollar pest. Population dynamics of the beetles were assessed with the use of various methods in YieldGardŽ Rootworm and nontransgenic corn. Data will be useful in evaluating YieldGardŽ Rootworm hybrid efficiency and in developing good insecticide resistance management strategies.
