The Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System has demonstrated itself as an effective technology offering structural protection via preventative or curative treatments. Recently, the use of sports drinks have resulted in enhanced performance of the system. Addition of sports drinks to the soil during station install resulted in an increase in station hit rate and strength. Treatment of bait resulted in a greater proportion of active stations and increased bait consumption. This performance enhancement will ultimately result in faster colony elimination, thus enhanced structural protection.
