Attractive killing interception sensory stations (AKISS) for control of codling moth and oriental fruit moth

A clear plastic killing station coated with esfenvalerate and a teflon-based grease was developed and baited with either the a combo pear ester and codlemone lure for codling moth or a sex pheromone blend and a chemical attractant for oriental fruit moth. Season-long trials were conducted with codling moth and these results will be presented. The oriental fruit moth system was fine-tuned during the season and selected aspects will be discussed.
