Recruit IV Termite Bait (0.5% noviflumuron) with Preferred Textured Cellulose (PTC) was compared to Recruit III Termite Bait (also 0.5% noviflumuron) with Laminated Textured Cellulose (LTC) in field trials with a variety of subterranean termite species in North America, Europe and Asia. Parameters evaluated were consumption of bait matrix and active ingredient, bait abandonment, and durability of the matrix. Results indicated that Recruit IV provided higher consumption of matrix and active ingredient and lower bait abandonment than did Recruit III. Durability of Recruit IV was equivalent to Recruit III.
