Mali interns, externs, and non-CRSP faculty become disseminators on-campus for: concepts of value in small-scale farming communities of material-resource poor environments; and issues of environmental protection. Using Mali and the IPM CRSP agendas as a case study, courses at MSU in Entomology (Insects and Society, Graduate Seminar, Natural Product Toxicology) Soils, Holistic Management, and Ag Education were strengthened. Results were shared campus-wide and community-wide at “Mali night”. Numbers of students impacted in some way, about developing country issues, approached 2000 over the 5 years.
