Status of Russian wheat aphid (RWA) resistance in barley

The scope and availability of adapted RWA-resistant barley germplasm will be presented, including spring and winter barleys as well as feed and malt types. The resistance of these lines to the new, more virulent strain of RWA, found to damage previously resistant wheat varieties in the field season of 2003, will also be discussed.
