Management of Dectes texanus texanus (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in Kansas soybeans

Dectes texanus texanus has been a recognized pest of soybeans in Kansas for nearly 20 years. During that period, reports of damage have increased from a few isolated fields in a hand full of counties to widespread infestations in more than 40 counties. This presentation will review past and current research into the management of this pest and outline current management recommendations.
