A new cockroach bait containing a Chitin Synthesis Inhibitor (noviflumuron) is being developed by Dow AgroSciences LLC, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Previous studies have shown that noviflumuron bait provides excellent control of field German cockroach populations at ³ 0.1%. In this study, we evaluated the speed of control, comparative efficacy, and bait consumption of noviflumuron gel bait and 3 other commercial cockroach baits under laboratory conditions.

Species 1: Blattodea Blattellidae Blattella germanica (German cockroach)
Keywords: chemical control
