There are over 30 species in the mosquito complex active at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center. We have evaluated several standard mosquito traps against this complex with special attention given to the invasive species Aedes albopictus (Skuse) and Ochlerotatus japonicus (Theobald). Special attention was given to the % gravid and the parity of the captured females by type of trap.
