Halofenozide was evaluated in a choice test for its potential as a bait toxicant against the eastern subterranean termite, Reticulitermes flavipes (Kollar). Feeding blocks composed of wood slices were vacuum-impregnated with halofenozide at concentrations ranging from 0 ppm to 10,000 ppm. Feeding deterrence occurred at concentrations greater than 4,000 ppm.

Species 1: Isoptera Rhinotermitidae Reticulitermes flavipes (eastern subterranean termite)
Keywords: halofenozide, bait toxicants
