Courtship behavior of both female morphs of Melittobia digitata Dahms is described and compared to four other Melittobia species and morphs. Differences and similarities on duration, frequency, and form of courtship phases among female morphs and species were analyzed. Behavioral patterns are shown to be complementary to morphological characteristics for species identification. Their use in education curricula is also discussed.
