Changes in protozoa populations in the hindgut of Reticulitermes flavipes

Symbiotic protozoa in the hindgut of termites were studied in Reticulitermes flavipes (Kollar). The flagellates were identified and counted from termites collected from the field and from termites maintained in a controlled environment.
