Toxicity of a new insect growth regulator, MJ644, against selected urban pests

A novel chitin synthesis inhibitor, MJ644, was evaluated against the German cockroach (Blattella germanica), Eastern subterranean termite (Reticulitermes flavipes), and Pharaoh ant (Monomorium pharaonis) in the laboratory. Choice- and no-choice feeding assays were evaluated. Basic efficacy results will be presented.

Species 2: Isoptera Rhinotermitidae Reticulitermes flavipes (eastern subterranean termite)
Species 3: Hymenoptera Formicidae Monomorium pharaonis (pharaoh ant)
