Effects of in-furrow insecticides and seed treatments in cotton on Orius insidiosus (Heteroptera: Anthocoridae)

Effects insecticides used at planting in cotton on mortality, oviposition, feeding activity and longevity of Orius insidiosus were measured using potted cotton plants grown in a greenhouse. Adult O. insidiosus were caged on plants at various intervals after emergence to determine the afore mentioned effects on this important predator found in cotton.
