In a semi-field study, sorghum plants surrounding host fruit of melon flies were sprayed with GF-120 Fruit Fly Bait to determine if such spray was effective in preventing marked and released immigrating females from reaching host fruit. Results showed high effectiveness against released protein-deprived females but less effectiveness against released protein-fed females.

Species 1: Diptera Tephritidae Bactrocera cucurbitae (melon fly)
