Comparative mosquito-capturing prowess of several commercial traps

The Mosquito Magnet Liberty, Coleman Mosquito Deleto, Lentek Mosquito Trap, Mosquito Cognito Dragonfly, and Flowtron Power Trap were simultaneously evaluated to determine the species and abundance of mosquitoes trapped. Traps were repeatedly rotated through multiple locations near a northwest Florida salt marsh during summer, 2002. This study was not designed to assess mosquito control effectiveness.
