Laura N. Remmen and Nan-Yao Su. University of Florida - Ft. Lauderdale Research & Education Center, Entomology & Nematology, 3205 College Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Sand was treated with thiamethoxam at concentrations ranging from 0 to 800 ppm. Concentrations greater than 60 ppm and 20 ppm significantly affected mortality for Reticulitermes flavipes and Coptotermes formosanus , respectively. Termites tunneled into treated sand at all concentrations.

Species 1: Isoptera Rhinotermitidae Reticulitermes flavipes (Eastern Subterranean Termite)
Species 2: Isoptera Rhinotermitidae Coptotermes formosanus (Formosan Subterranean Termite)
Keywords: Thiamethoxam
