Searching for evidence of learning in a large non-majors insect biology course

Several methods of assessment were used to evaluate whether students were learning about insects in a large non-majors class. Classroom assessment techniques, individualized assignments and on-line quizzes, pre- and post-tests and student evaluations all helped to identify various aspects of student learning.
