Exploring the spatial structure of wheat stem sawfly and braconid parasitoid populations in Montana wheat fields

David K. Weaver, Department of Entomology, Montana State University, Department of Entomology, 333 Leon Johnson Hall, Bozeman, MT

This presentation will describe spatial structures using several kriging models and give details of the variography used to assess the model suitability. The spatial structure in these insect populations varies significantly from field-to-field within a broad monoculture.

Species 1: Hymenoptera Cephidae Cephus cinctus
Keywords: Spatial autocorrelation, Kriging models
