As consultant for the Louisville/Jefferson County, Kentucky Board of Health for mosquito survey and control since 1965, the author discusses species discoveries, population fluctuations, relative species abundance, larval habitats, larval community composition and other aspects of data from larval and adult mosquito collections during all but one of those years through 2000 in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
