Areawide mating disruption of the oriental fruit moth, Grapholita molesta, in Pennsylvania apples and peaches

Mating disruption trials of the Oriental fruit moth were carried out with hand applied dispensers and paraffin emulsion in large commercial fruit orchards encompassing a total area of ca. 40 ha. Treatments were assessed with pheromone traps and multiple shoot and fruit injury counts. Border effects were also studied.
