Faba bean is one of the most important human food crops in Egypt. In middle Egypt it is subject to attack by large number of insect pests especially, Aphid crasivera, which represent the fearful threat of faba beans production as a virus vector. To improve and develop the pest control program, several approaches were formulated for host/pest and pest/natural enemies relationship developing certain technologies for perdition models and data-field based life table model for forecasting the population densities, monitoring sources of infection and the ecological approach for both of virus vector involved. Results indicated depending on well-timed aphicide sprays and enhancing the local bio-control agents.
