We sampled male and female western corn rootworm in refuge and adjacent Bt corn blocks in 2006 and 2010. Samples were taken along a transect across both blocks at multiple times during a 30 day period. We used a simple model of emergence, mortality and dispersal (exponential function) to mimic the changes in distributions of males over time.
