0699 Observations of overwintering hibernacula on pecan in southwest Arkansas and northeast Texas

Sampling of overwintering insects was conducted in pecan orchards throughout southwestern Arkansas and northeastern Texas. Hibernacula of Lepidoptera were found and identified as pecan nut casebearer. Comparisons of infestations were made of trees that had been treated with insecticides and trees that were untreated.
