The microlepidopteran family Choreutidae is distributed worldwide, with most of its species diversity found in the tropics. Through a massive campaign of rearing caterpillars in Papua New Guinea, a number of metalmark moth species were obtained. In this presentation, we will describe the diversity of this moth family in New Guinea and host specificity of the species found there.
