In addition to being beneficial generalist predators, Carabid beetles may aid in reducing weed populations. This study focuses on the weed seed predation potential of ground beetles. Behavioral factors such as seed-caching and seed preference will be examined. Ecological factors will also be considered and dispersal rates estimated.
